6.9 for sale in Central New York

I am listing a 6.9 for a friend. It is a 1978 US spec anthracite over black. Vin # 116 036 12 004640. There aren't any particular options on this one that stand out. According to my indy (where the car is currently located) it runs and the suspension will pump up.

It needs:
Drivers front and back floor pans.
The interior cleaned thoroughly as it is mildewed.
Paint buffed as it is covered with algae from being parked under a tree.
Replacement of some of the rear window trim.
Refinished wood and in some places replaced wood on the dash.

I have a couple of pictures but if anyone wants more information I can get to the car quite easily. I can be reached by email mdcarroll@ymail.com or phone 315-317-5861. If you are at all interested please contact me.

Epic fail on the ad. Pic links go to pics that were deleted, no price, etc. Details sell cars, blank links and no price do not. Needing floor pans, it should be pretty cheap.

Thanks Nate! That was kind of you.

Just doing a friend a favor and posting his car. I have made myself pretty available to assist anyone remotely interested.

I saw an old mercedes sitting at a local small used car dealer and checked it out and it was a 6.9.

I just noticed that the car has a 450SEL/300SD bumper but the rear bumper is a US spec 6.9 bumper.

I like the color combo but that car is going to need a LOT of work to get it to daily driver status.

I guess I never noticed a difference between 450SEL front bumpers and 6.9 front bumpers. I will have to educate myself on this.

Just as an aside, I realize that without a price it is difficult to generate interest in a car for sale. However, all I want to do is alert enthusiasts to a car that once was something special and perhaps it will meet someone's needs.

tbomachines, it is in Syracuse but I'd be interested to know why you thought it was in Dryden?

My guess is there is a hoard of MBs in Dryden (I forget which Route, maybe 13) that I passed on my way to pick up a 500SLC. I almost hit the breaks to check out the stash but since I don't drive a 14' Uhaul with a car trailer attached everyday, I thought it best to keep truckin' (and yes I rented a Uhaul with car trailer to transport this car. )

We had a thread in the vintage section not too long ago about a 6.9 that was sitting in Dryden, you could see it from google street view. I was more curious than anything
