WTB: Later W124 Sedan or Coupe - East coast

I'm looking to buy a later (let's say 1992 onward) W124 sedan or coupe.

I'm in New York, on Long Island, so obviously the closer the better. Would consider road tripping Florida, but California is out of the question.

What I'm after is a sorted car with under 100,000 miles that starts and drives properly today. (In other words, not a car that's in great shape but has been stored outside for 3 years and had a small fuel injector problem and probably needed a a tiny complete head gasket job when it was last parked). Whether it's a 2.6 or a 2.8 or a 3.0 or silver or grey or whatever is secondary to me.

Sorry if this sounds a little demanding; I'm just frustrated from car shopping and experiences like driving 2 hours to see a "perfect" car that shut itself off 30 seconds after I started it up.

Thanks so much. Best contact is through e-mail rather than PM -- metacarsnews (at) gmail.

Have you hit the lottery recently? If so, buy my E500!
