Nice car you have there.

hello All, I am new to this site, but I love it! I just bought a 95' E300D special edition. I was reading, and wanted to know, stainless steel door sill plates come standard on special edition? i saw several special editions. however, the one i bought has, 1. gray leather interior 2. Burl walnut trim 3. stainless steel door sills and 4. the 6 hole wheels. I got it for a killer deal too $3,500.00, the maintainence reciepts the previous owner gave me for the last year (2009) alone were over $3,800.00 and that's not including the A/C rebuild that he said was done 10K miles ago! I'd been looking for a long time for one, this one was perfect for me! I appreciate any info or feedback, the only issue with this one is the oil, temp, and fuel gauge are flaky and don't work properly. I'm attaching pics.

It might be time to replace the engine wire harness if it hasn't been done.

Yes, the sills are a SE part, as is the burlewood. Nice car.

The only unfortunate part of the SE package is the phone overhead in place of the center sun-visor, but a quick swap of the header changes that.

I know several of the SE Mills folks. LO and her husband are good friends.

This car is back up for sale due to someone from South America who claimed not to understand the process.

I had to stop putting buy it nows on my auctions for that very same reason. I ask people to email me before bidding so I can establish a connection. The auctions are to costly for scam bidders to ruin.

Oh joy, How difficult is replacing the engine wiring harness? the engine runs really well... would that cause just those 3 gauges to act up?

Thanks for the info,

Dan

That's pretty cool. I work for the company that SE Mills purchased last October in Southern California. I have been to their offices in Rome, GA twice, so I probably haven't met her.

Let us know if you plan to relist on EBay.

Also, would you take the final bid on your auction as the purchase price? I call "dibbs" if you will do that.....
