I researched this at one time, and just for the record, by 1993, all Mercedes models got R134a.

At first glance the trunk badge looks incorrect, but iirc on those early cars, thats what they got- it should have a similar looking one on top of the valve cover- engine pics?

The front bumper is missing the AMG logo at the center too, but that and the gearshift cap are being reproduced by a guy on MBW and BW who does excellent work- otherwise those parts are not cheap!

I had engine pictures but they weren't showing. Added them now. I'm looking for the AMG logo on other '95s in photos and I don't see any. Perhaps my competition could verify?

Hmm, thats a good point. The 95's may not have had it at all. The good thing about yours is that you still have both the tow hook covers, yet another unique and very pricey part.

Here is mine for placement reference:

Added a idle photo and video. As you can see, no lights. SRS light takes a little while (30 seconds or so) to turn off, but from what I've researched, and been told by the PO and my indy, that its not an issue.

Start:

Next time I stopped (the SRS light turned off well before this)

The video is a straight forward 0-60 run with a hard brake at back to normal speed. There is a slight right side bank to the road but its a flat stretch. My camera has a tendency to pick up subtle background noises and amplifies them (such as my mouth breathing and the keychain slapping.)

Enjoy: There's some gravel still on the roads so it breaks loose a bit on the launch, slowing the time somewhat.

Sold to long time forum member AMGmercedes, aka Bart. I didn't realize he was a former Mercedes Tech, and even more impressive is on course towards med-school. Anywho, I think he's happy with the car, and hope he has a safe trip home. Unfortunately I had the check engine light kick on shortly before he was to pick it up, but the code didn't point to anything major. Hopefully Bart can track down the vacuum leak or whatever thing is ticking her off. It was embarrassing to say the least.

I like the change in the positon of the fuel gauge between the first and second gauges photo!

It has always bugged me that MB removed the oil pressure gauge in later cars....why did they have to do that.
