I am selling my 1985 300SD (federal version, not CA), 239K miles. Car is in Bakersfield, CA

$4,000 OBO

-Car has been repainted to match original color. Burgundy with light gray interior
-Engine/Tranny work great
-Recent work includes mono-valve, valve adjustment, tranny fluid/filter change
-Tires are still about 80%
-A/C and heat work
-Aftermarket radio
-All electronics work except for cruise control, and locking driver door does not lock all other doors, but locking at trunk does
-Interior, would rate about a 7 out of 10 - some small repairs have been done to leather

Just comparing to others out there and for more information on this 300SD...this one has zero rust and the AC works great. That seems to be a rare combination of the many I have looked at.

Dropping price to $3,500....any interest?

Just wanted to say that's a beautiful car. A buddy of mine bought an '82 SD that color with MB Tex Palamino interior about the time I bought my '83 SD in '91. Sounds like it's priced right to me.

Two questions:

What's your deadline for moving? I'm out of the country at the moment. My return is somewhat flexible.

How's the dash? (under the carpet)

A few more questions:

Does it have a sunroof?

Have you replaced either of the flex-discs?

Would you feel confident driving it to New York (which is what I am considering doing)?

I have not replaced the flex discs, and it does have a sunroof. I would feel confident driving it anywhere, it has been a super reliable car.
