I have personally seen that car and sat in it about 2 years ago. Its a very clean car and it ran great.

I know nothing about appraising old cars BUT... for twenty grand that car should be mint. I think mint means showroom new condition, period. The dash is kinda rough, it has a terrible pioneer POS stereo and the grill needs work. It's in very fine shape but not "mint". Paint should be flawless as well as those hubcaps.

IMHO it's a $9000 car. But like I said.. what do I know? It was cool to look at the pictures.

It looks just like the first benz I ever owned....a 61 220b...black with grey interior, stick ...a bit rusty but very comfortable and reliable.

I drove it around europe and north africa for nearly a year back in 1973. It started my love affair with mb.

MIne had the uber cool euro headlights though.
