Arizona 1982 300D - $2200
The car has 272,000 miles but the transmission was rebuilt by a good local indie shop at 265,000 miles in 2007. It also has a Saris roof-mounted bicycle rack. This car has been registered in southern AZ its entire life and the only rust is in the side wells of the trunk. This is surface rust only and in no way has compromised structural integrity. I changed the fuel lines when I first bought the car in 2007 and have been running B99 and B20 since then.
Being in AZ though, the top of the dashboard is cracked and has a cover on it. Engine runs fine, and the air conditioning works but needs the monovalve overhauled. Right now when you have the AC compressor on, the monovalve is allowing some coolant into the heater core and making the output air temp warmer than it would otherwise be. The car exterior is not in mint condition (dull paint, a 4” ding on the right front fender, right brake light lens cracked) but it is in good mechanical shape. The interior is good with the exception of a rip in the drivers' seat and one of the rear windows (forgot which one) does not open. The following is a list of new parts since 2007: Rebuilt Transmission New front wheel bearings, brake rotors, brake calipers, brake pads New biodiesel-compatible fuel lines New Radiator Rebuilt drive axles (CVJ) New battery New alternator New stereo w/ SD card & USB inputs 4-wheel alignment April 2010 I have documentation for all of the above. The only reason that I am selling it is because I am no longer living in the US and it makes no sense to ship it. It is currently located in Tucson AZ. Please email me with any questions pjtommasi@hotmail.com It may take me a few days to get back to you because I do not always have internet access.
