Where are the 108, 109, and 111 sedans?
I get it, you guys really like your w123 diesels. I check this section everyday hoping to find a nice 108, 109, or 111 sedan and very rarely see anything. Sure, occasionally those $1000 cars are posted, and people kick the tires, eventually buy it, and begin the long process of trying to make it a somewhat decent car.
My question pertains to the nicer 108's, 109's, and 111's that have already had a bunch of the work done. Meaning, their floors aren't fertilizer and the paint isn't completely shot. I realize their 40+ years old, but doesn't anyone here with a nice one want to sell it? I realize such cars command more money when they're not rust buckets and have been taken care of, but it would be nice to occasionally see one of these cars that isn't on the threshold of being a parts car (especially if it's in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area ) This was just a rant, but on the other hand, if anyone here knows of a decent 108 or 111 sedan for sale (that isn't rusted out or had a lion let loose on the interior) give me a shout. Best Regards, David

I have a nice red 109. It might be the only 6.3 in that color, according to one source, not sure if there is any way to verify that though. I am thinking of selling it later this year because i am thinking of getting a Porsche Turbo....

I've seen pictures of your car. If you do choose to sell, keep me in mind. There are various examples on CL, but I'm still a little apprehensive to buy a car sight unseen in CA then have it shipped to TX when I've never met the seller.
Regards, David
