1998 BMW 328i Convertible E36 White/ Grey Leather

1998 BMW 328i Convertible E36 auto trans, with Harmon Kardon Stereo /with upgraded speakers CDT mids and Polk Audio tweeters, Diyma 12" Subwoofer/ Soundstream Subwoofer amp and Alpine iDA-X100 head unit. You can connect your iPod or a hard disk or thumb drive to play your music, no CD's. White with Grey Leather interior, Black convertible Power Top, Power Seats, new oversized tires all around on 17" premium oversized chrome wheels. Upgraded with High Intensity Discharge Headlamps, Smoked Corner Blinkers and Smoked Tail Lights with 89,700 miles.

The A/C does not work, not sure if it needs a recharge or something more, I just drive with the top down so I didn't bother with it. This is a very good running car, and fun to drive! Has minor dings and blemishes of a 12 year old car. The back window could use a refurbishing or replacement. The check engine light comes on every once in awhile but nothing seems to be amiss. BMW's and Mercedes are known for the "check engine light" coming on. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Kelly Blue Book says it is worth between $8,000-8,800. $7777 or best offer. This is 328ic V6 (very fast) model, not the typical 318ic four cylinder car. Greenwich, CT.

I've owned just about every single BMW model produced from 1985 onwards. If the check engine light is on, there is a problem with the car - the newer the model, the greater number of variables that trigger this light. On a E36, could be O2 sensors, MAF, etc. The car will compensate for whatever is triggering the light, allowing you to get to your service center at your earliest convenience, but it does not mean you should continue driving just because nothing "seems amiss".

BMW did not make a V6. Never has and (hopefully) never will. If it's a 6 cylinder BMW, than it's an inline (straight) 6 which denotes the single bank of cylinders going front to back. And while 328 is certainly faster than a 318, I wouldn't describe a 3400lb car with 191HP as "very fast". Lively might be a more accurate description.

0-60mph in 6.8 secs in the 328iC is faster than the 1997 E420 time of 7.2 secs!

I always thoughts the 420s were faster... at least they seem faster at highway speeds than from a dig.
