1976 240D Manual

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63XR55Kme7c

From Charlotte, NC- Grandma is giving me her 1993 300E, and I don't need 3 cars. It has been a great daily driver for the last 4 years and has 193,000 documented miles.

Let me know if you have any specific questions!

Thanks!

new video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFkwsxe0Nw8

I added a driving video. I think 2000 is fair, so that is my asking price. I am in no hurry, as it is just hanging out in the garage and not hurting anything.

Let me know what you guys think! I've always appreciated reading the enthusiasts' opine on various cars.

I think the diesel and the stick will save you, I have a 73 280 gasser with the pretty bumpers and a better interior I can't give away. The start up squeal is the alt belt, high alt load from the glow plugs running before start-up, no big deal.

I think there is no question that your W115 is way above average for the condition you generally find these in.
I also like both of your video presentations. Very matter of fact, informative without the "hard sell" aspect.
For somebody who wants a nice W115 I think you have a very nice example for a very fair price!
Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback and support! I'll keep you guys/gals posted on the selling process.

If you have any advice or tips, I'm all ears.

After taking the time to clean it up and list all of positives/negatives for prospective buyers I'm already considering just keeping it...I used to always wonder why so many posters had so many cars under their signatures...now I'm starting to understand. These cars become part of your identity.

The car is definitely still for sale and I hope I get 2000, but it will be bittersweet to see the new owner drive it away! Here's to hoping it's a quick process- like removing a bandaid- so as to lessen the sting.

I e-mailed you from Craig’s list, from your reply it did not sound like you wanted to sell her.
You replied something about golf clubs not falling out of the trunk. I was asking about rust.

Thanks

Murphy,

I apologize for any confusion. I'll send you some photos today. I'm definitely still selling the vehicle.

Thanks!
