why do I always see Cadillac's from that era pulling very large boats? I am guessing it has near limitless towing capacity.

You got it ! When I bought mine from the original owner he says he used it to tow his boat and his motor home (thus the hitch, extra oil & tranny coolers)
My 68 was the first year for the 472 cubic inch engine. I can not remember what the torque and H.P. is but I believe the HP was around 375+

I hate to sell this before I can finish it but my current finances and space are making me sell it. I bought it from my Mother-in-law ( the original owner) with plans to paint it. I have about $4,500. into it but have priced it to sell.
