1994 E320 Coupe Sportline, Auction in Los Angeles
I ran into this one while browsing the net.
It has a salvage title but the damage looks very minor. I looks like an original California car. Low mileage too < 104K. They are very rare. I just bought a 95 Wagon otherwise I would be bidding on it myself. I Obviously have no connections to this sale. Anyone to the rescue ? I don't think the "sportline" badge was ever on the trunk and the "E" is in the wrong position. But hey, it's already wrecked...

I noticed those too.
It still looks like a decent one IMHO. |

I have a 94 Benz E320 Coupe and not sure if this is a genuine one, look at the steering wheel for the sportline design and shift knob sportline decal. If it is a genuine sportline with that mileage I would bid on it. These cars are rare and rising in value.

Ok guys. Just like you I was curious to see if it realy was a sportline so
I went and looked at it today. IT WAS A SPORTLINE. It had the gear shift knob & the steernig wheel but & the badges on the rocker panel. The overall condition was worst than it looked in the pictures. There seemed to be a below average paint job on the back of the car which explains the 320 E sign & the addition of sportline badge on the trunk. The engine sounded tired too. It is gone now ( sold this afternoon ) I didn't stick around to find out for how much. |
