Thumbs up 1972 Mercedes 280SE 4.5

This is my 1972 Mercedes 280SE 4.5. It has been a great car. It has a 4.5 liter V8 with an automatic transmission. It has power windows and locks. I am asking $3000 obo. The body is in nice shape except for a few rust areas. The floor pans and trunk are very solid and rust free. The interior is in very very nice shape as you can see from the pictures. It does need the wood trim for the passengers side window and the headliner is pulling loose in the rear. The seats are rip and crack free and the carpet is in wonderful shape. I have receipts for a little over $7000 worth of work that has been done to it. It has had the timing chain, tensioner and guide rails replaced, new front end, A/C system has been converted to R134 and the list goes on and on. The passengers side window regulator will need to be replaced but I do have a new one that was purchased from Mercedes that will go with the car. If I have time I will get it replaced. At the moment it does not run. It ran great till the first cold spell we had and then it stopped. It is getting plenty of gas to the injectors and it is getting good spark but I just can't figure out why the injectors are not firing. There is a local gentleman that is a Mercedes master mechanic on the older Benzs like this that seems to think he knows what it is and can get it running in 2 to 3 hours. He said he has seen this happen a few times. You are welcome to stop by to see the car. If you have any questions feel free to call, Text or email. the only reason I am selling it is because I need to raise some cash for the purchase of a new work vehicle to add to my first one. Please do not low ball me. I have dealt with these cars for a long time and know what they are worth.

Thanks,
Paul
