TMV is $8k. Sorry to burst your bubble, KBB is a bit inflated, though not as much as NADA. Unfortunately its a tough market for these cars right now, great time to buy but not as much to sell.

I would hang in there for a better number than some of the 'supposed' consumer websites say they're worth. Don't give 'em away is my best advice to you.

I'm sorry - but they're just wrong. I put one of the Holy Grail MB diesel model years in the edmunds price calculator, and it came up at $3K. Not even close to what they routinely go for in the $5K to $6K and up price range. Ixne on that pricing source.

Edmunds is usually more accurate than the other sources - KBB and NADA are very high typically. I was just trying to give friendly advice to OP that his price is quite strong in a struggling R129 market. I hope he gets what he is asking but it may take a while. All you need is a motivated buyer.
