I am selling my beloved 300D. It has taking me a while to type this. Sigh. Okay.

I can't change the title of this thread, but I will take $600.

Located in Elmhurst, IL. A Northwest suburb of Chicago.

81 300D 230,000 miles. I've listed it as a parts car because it needs a lot of work. I am posting here because I want someone who knows these cars to buy it, you will need to do some work. Some guys like that.

Will it drive you home? Absolutely. It hasn't left me stranded in 40,000 miles of cross country trips. The air conditioning motor froze up on me, but that was outside my garage. This car has the soul of an angel.

The bad first. Air conditioner motor is frozen. Starts hard below freezing. The transmission modulator doesn't work, so adjustments are made with the needle valve fix I found on here. The car shifts properly when warmed up, but will shift hard until it is. Leaks power steering fluid.

Non original radio. It's not currently plumbed for veggie oil, but it has two valves underneath the steering wheel for such things. I ran one tank with a set up, and then decided it was too much trouble.

Dirty on the inside.

Good: New injectors and nozzles. Two year old Bilstein HD front shocks. Three year old front rotors/pads. Two year old front calipers. Battery one year old. Some rust starting on the right side door, but it lived in Virginia/North Carolina mostly.

Comes with (but not installed) : New and beefy Saab alternator (yes it fits), set of tie rods, control arm, master cylinder. A bunch of cans of diesel purge, some oil filters. New box of brake pads. I think I have some other odds and ends out there.

Buy it. Love it. Transfer it's parts to another vehicle, just don't show me pictures of it.
