I am selling my beloved 300D. It has taking me a while to type this. Sigh. Okay.

I can't change the title of this thread, but I will take $500.

Located in Elmhurst, IL. A Northwest suburb of Chicago.

81 300D 230,000 miles. I've listed it as a parts car because it needs a lot of work. I am posting here because I want someone who knows these cars to buy it, you will need to do some work. Some guys like that.

Will it drive you home? Absolutely. It hasn't left me stranded in 40,000 miles of cross country trips. The air conditioning motor froze up on me, but that was outside my garage. This car has the soul of an angel.

The bad first. Air conditioner motor is frozen. Starts hard below freezing. The transmission modulator doesn't work, so adjustments are made with the needle valve fix I found on here. The car shifts properly when warmed up, but will shift hard until it is. Leaks power steering fluid.

Non original radio. It's not currently plumbed for veggie oil, but it has two valves underneath the steering wheel for such things. I ran one tank with a set up, and then decided it was too much trouble.

Dirty on the inside.

Good: New injectors and nozzles. Two year old Bilstein HD front shocks. Three year old front rotors/pads. Two year old front calipers. Battery one year old. Some rust starting on the right side door, but it lived in Virginia/North Carolina mostly.

Comes with (but not installed) : New and beefy Saab alternator (yes it fits), set of tie rods, control arm, master cylinder. A bunch of cans of diesel purge, some oil filters. New box of brake pads. I think I have some other odds and ends out there.

Buy it. Love it. Transfer it's parts to another vehicle, just don't show me pictures of it.

Is this Turbo or NA? Just need to know.
Tires good enough for a trip?

Really, it doesn't sound like a parts car. Please post some pictures! Someone out there will love it as it deserves. I absolutely would, but if I bring home one more stray MB, I am in the doghouse. Good luck with the sale!

Yup, the battery is a year old. And assuming the interested buyer is from Michigan, that's where I grew up. I probably made about 20 trips from here to Alma the last three years. I'll try linking the only picture I have right now. Let me know if it doesn't work for you. No turbo.

Sorry wilson, not sure when you posted this. If you meant this coming weekend, no. I'm going downtown to help one of my friends move. The following yes, preferably on Sunday. Send me a private message and we can work out the details.

It should be added that one set of switches is new, one set does not work. The CCU is a new unit, and the hood latch cable is broken.
