Might be interested in trading my 300D for a Manual W115 (MAYBE)

I've got the w115 bug pretty bad (ok, very bad), but no money.... I'm entertaining the possibility of trading my 300D for a manual W115 car. Your W115 would have to be rust free and have everything working (A/C, no leaks, good suspension, maintenance records, etc), as my 300D is very well maintained and has relatively good paint and no rust. You can see my car in my sig, and if you search you can see some of the things I have done to it.

I'm not sure I want to do this, but if you have a good w115 and are looking for a good w123, PM me and we might be able to work something out.

This doesn't fit your request but should give you hope in your endeavor.

I have yet to find someone who will part ways with a sorted, rust free, manual, W115. Good Luck.

Wish I had cash! That's actually a bit nicer than what I would take in a trade, but hell, if he came to me with that tomorrow, I wouldn't say no! Thanks for the heads up!

There is an OK w115 240D in my area for 1900, but its a 3 speed automatic.

No thanks.

I think there is at least one more thread concerning this car - it has been for sale for ages (unless of course it has been bought and is now back for sale)

In the link the last bits of text say:-

"The car is now available in Charlottesville, Virginia for $6750. Contact us at mail@bringatrailer.com if you are interested."

Oooooo I hope I don't get done for a copyright infringement...
