I went and checked out this car today. It's sat for 20 years and is not in running condition, although I don't think it'd take much to get it running. The license plate tags are from 1991 going with the story.

It's not in great shape, dirty and worn on the inside. Missing a few things but pretty much all there. I think with a extremely thorough cleaning and seam repair job you could get the interior respectable.

No turbo or AC on this car. The nail in the coffin for me was rust, I don't want to deal with repairing rust. I've seen a lot worse on w123's but I was surprised how a 30 year old car that has been stored inside for 20 years has way more rust than my car.
