87 Mercedes turbo 300sdl with grease car kit installed. - $6499 (Austin)
I must say I love this car, and I’ve always loved working on cars as a hobby. And with all the new parts this car has it shows. It’s something I do to all the cars I end up owning, I just like to repair them and upgrade them the way I like them. This is a very clean and dependable car, I wouldn’t have a problem driving the car across the country. A/C and heater work great and it has an upgraded CD player.
I’ve owned the car for three years and I installed a 1500.00 grease car kit, so that will allow you to cut your fuel bill by 90%. Over all the system is super easy to use, because it’s controlled by the co-pilot computer. The odometer stopped working after I purchased the car, and it states that it’s 200k, But I would think that the car is close to 225-235k miles on her. I’ve replaced the all brake calipers, rotors and pads, shocks, front wheel bearings and the tie rod ends. It has a new radiator, radiator upper and lower hose with a aftermarket heating element in it to heat up the coolant on really cold days. New water pump, and t-stat, rebuilt Boznia injectors (balanced & pop tested), timing chain replaced, new starter and alternator. I’ve also replaced the power steering pump in the last two years. And I’ve also replaced the back axles. It also comes with the optima battery. (red top). I’ve also upgraded the exhaust system with a 3inch 409 stainless steel exhaust system. I had a shop re-paint the outside of the car back to the true MB color, and I just put on some new tires for the new owner. I’ve always run the car on only amsoil products. Even the brake fluid is a dot 4 upgraded fluid that is a super racing blue color brake fluid. All oil changes and tranny flushes and differential fluid is amsoil. So why sale such a great car, I just started a new job, and I have a work truck, and I’m not paying for fuel. So the 87 300sdl MB is just setting in the garage and being driven on weekends really so it’s time for her to find another happy home.
