1985 300D w/low miles in SoCal
1985 Mercedes Benz 300D with 130,000 miles Anthracite gray/Palomino MB Tex $8500.00 A super clean example of fine German engineering and craftsmanship! This car is in spectacular condition for its age! It has been well-cared for and shows! It's a true classic with such amenities as WORKING ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, ELECTRIC WINDOWS & SUNROOF, Working Original Stereo, and more. EXTERIOR The Anthracite Gray paint is clean and shiny. The car has been recently detailed inside and out. The body has just a few very minor dings . The plastic headlight bezels and taillights are smoked. The chrome bumpers/rub strips both front and back are in great shape. The 16" rims and Michelin tires are also in terrific condition. INTERIOR The overall condition of the interior is excellent and super clean. The Palomino MB-Tex Seats are firm and in excellent condition with no tears (they have not turned pink either). The dashboard is free of cracks and the Zebrano wood is like-new. A few minor cracks are present on the wood center console area. ALL windows work-a rare find with these old mercedes. Also, the SUNROOF works without any issues. The door lock/trunk/fuel door lock vacuum system works as it should. A little ware on the map pockets and the drivers floor mat, as well as the vinyl on the header panel coming loose, are the only interior defects. Original Owners Manual, Floor Mats, First Aid Kit and Safety Triangle (in trunk, not pictured) are included. MECHANICAL The 3 liter Diesel engine starts and runs superb, and has typical acceleration for a diesel with California emissions (trap oxidizer). The engine bay is very clean and leak free and the transmission shifts smooth. This car is not converted to run on Vegetable Oil and has never used such fuel to power the car. The cruise control does not work. The car is a super clean, NO-RUST, California car with a Salvage Title, and is registered and ready to go.
