Sounds like a road trip in the making..... there's a reasonable path between Ann Arbor, Frederick, and Korntucky, right?

We'll make one, or at least schedule our pickup times/date together! Wife is actually interested in this. I don't understand, but I'm not complaining. Now let's see what Google maps says about a trip from Frederick to Ann Arbor to Williamstown, Ky and back to Frederick looks like. Gustav needs an older brother in the stable with him anyway.

Dang it, you guys are gonna force my hand, aren't you?

Pretty sure my Miata (only vehicle I have with a hitch) wouldn't make the greatest tow mule for a 220Sb..... and given the description available so far not sure I'd be up for gassin' 'er up and attempting a drive home.......

Mull, mull, mull.

Come on Jim, you know somebody with a truck you could borrow. And u-haul rents the trailer for about $50 a day and someplaces consider sat to mon to be 1.5 days. You know you want it!

I have a diesel ram located in mid tn that I am willing to loan in exchange for being able to purchase something close to running. We'd need a trailer but those can be rented.

Wife would veto anything (every vehicle) without an engine. Actually, I can't blame her. I'm the one that decided (why I have no idea) that "nothing comes in unless something goes out".

you're actually losing money, and should be commended! scrap is at $14/100lbs and these cars would be bringing $350-400 across the scales....nice work seeing that they get utilized, brother

salvage sale

I want a couple of those,.....and I really don't know why!
Can you add Grand Rapids Michigan to the convoy? I have a 26ft goose neck?!?!? Actually, my Dad has the trailer and truck and may be convinced to go on a cross country adventure. He loves going "on the road". He has a "thirsty" V-10 dodge he pulls with.
If he's game, is there any chance we can work this out? The trouble may be, that we have enough interested parties, but all interested in the same units. Another concern is: how many units can I fit on a 26ft. flat bed, parked on the diaganol,.. 4?
What is the length of a 180? 220?

bobk was kind enough to grab some pictures of the 61 220Bs at strelnik's at my request - they are posted below. Not a comment on the value for money here, but this one is rougher than I'm able to take on right now. Wish I could, love this body style..... so those of you with more time/space/money/desire than me, go for it!

PM Resent. just wanted a few pics so I know what to expect before making the trip out there. Gotta get wife approval first. Probably looking at one of the Pontons, though that SB looks pretty sweet too.

I wish I wish I wish I WISH I had some money right now.

I was very disappointed to read on another thread of your problems with people messaging you with crap over these cars. If I could, I'd be all over at least one.

You know the old saying, "opinions are like.... everyone's got one."

Good luck with it.
