FS 1989 Mercedes 190e 2.6 55k Miles
This was traded to me, was going to daily drive the car - ended up buying another diesel.
1989 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6, Smoke Silver/Red, only 55k miles, automatic, has the 2.6 liter 6 cylinder engine. Overall in very good condition. Runs and drives excellent - solid, straight and tight. Exterior cosmetic condition good, interior near excellent. All electrical accessories work including sunroof, a/c and radio antenna. Recent brakes and exhaust system, two tires are newer two are older (will need two). It was garaged for most of its life and has no rust or cracks in the dash. Newer cd player installed. Imperfections - (all visible in the pictures) - rear bumper pushed in on the left side, front grille replaced in the past with an inferior part, molding on pass side front door replaced with a similar color one, some of the door panels have begun to unglue at the top (minor but there) trip meter sometimes sticks - odometer works, slight valve cover gasket leak (minor but there). Comes with owners manuals, tool kit and one key. Great car that needs some attention from the right person who appreciates the 190 cars. If any questions contact me, vin wdbda29d6kf616946. Price is 3600 open to discussion with serious buyers - thanks. Last edited by Corra; 11-23-2011 at 11:19 AM. Reason: . |

Speaking for myself only, such a low mileage example needs some explanation. Would probably help with the sale. It must have been sitting for an extended period, right? I am always leery of all the rubber fittings, gaskets, strut mount tops etc. which degrade over time. Sometimes faster if it's sitting in storage. Got any of the history?
