two ladies waiting

for a new home....
Greetings all,
Been a while since I last posted. As to the reason why....I sadly need to sell BOTH of my 300D's....so lets get to the description instead of drawing out the pain.....

Car 1- Dark blue with palomino interior.about 180k on motor and 210k on body.Paint on hood is losing its clearcoat like a shedding dog....

-the good.....I have done a fair amount of work to this car over the last few years. If someone looked up my posts they would get an idea of the things done.
-new driveshaft and associated mounts three years ago
-subframe mounts done couple years ago(three I think)
-rear diff mount
-new rear suspension with firm springs and middle rubber bushing mount(includes shocks)
-replaced the CCU(boneyard) and have the replacement diaphragms for the center vents
-fixed oil leak from oil pressure gauge and got dash gauges and lights alive again
-boost controller and gauge plumbed to ashtray(went with controller because wastegate was non-functional and contrller made adjustments VERY simple)
-new bearings, calipers and rotors in front end and just rotors, pads and calipers in back.Bearings seem to be okay.
-when I bought the car five years ago I did the entire steering mechanism(tie-rod, linkages etc)
-sunroof does not leak(at the moment though the drive gear is shot-I have the replacement for it; just have no time to replace it)
-replaced both front and rear windshield gaskets and fixed the cancer in the rear windshield gasket groove. Not a drop since I did that.
-right now she has two new tires up front
-just had injectors R/R'd at pittsburghs only bosch shop.
-had "dogleg" rust patch behind drive wheels fixed professionally....looks good and makes for a dry trunk....YAY!
-replaced fuel tank screen

The BAD-

-Spent a fair sum to have a floor hole fixed and unfortunately I still have a small leak into floorpan behind/under passenger seat.Body guy put a double floor in but seems to have miised a small hole somewhere.Something that drains into the rocker panel is the culprit I believe.
-Found a small amount of Babbit material in oil pan, so b4 original motor for car died(or showed any signs other than the babbet material) I put a donor motor in with plans to do a partial rebuild on original motor.(I have most of the topend parts for a partial rebuild, still need to get bottom end bearings and get crank checked just to make sure no damage and still usable.I have the motor on a stand at the moment.(I also have a gasket kit for said rebuild)
-I think the motor in her at the moment is showing signs of needing valve guide seals...she smokes a fair bit when first started...after running for a few minutes she runs strong and will pull 85mph all day.
-at the moment she is marking her territory a bit to much....seem to need an oil filter gasket.

Car 2- Anthracite grey with palomino interior...also losing its clearcoat.
-Was originally bought as another project car
-she runs and drives...but when i bought her I was told that inspection had been failed for front suspension.Ball joints feel okay though, so most likely just steering bits.BUt honestly, beyond the ball joints I just have not had the time to dig deeper.when I drove it around the block though, it did not seem hugely sloppy, so it might just be a case of trying to rob the PO.
-I started to go over the interior and sunroof(so I could park her outside sometimes), but ran into time issues after having removed the sunroof(needs a gear)
-needs antenna, or something to plug hole
-needs trunk gasket and maybe one brake light gasket....needed to look deeper....no time at the moment
-needs hardware to properly attach hood grill.Po mickey moused something.
-has standard center dash issue, but A/C seems to hold pressure and got cool when I ran it.
I have not had the chance to do much to this car, adjusted valves, new rotor and around the block is about all mechanically.
The BAD- seems to have some rust underneath, but does not look super major.Just a PITA.

With these vehicles I have an inordinate amount of parts, both new and used.I am a junkyard dog, so when I go to one and find parts worth having I tend to get them.Annoys the hell out of my wife....lol....I also have some new parts as well.

I am selling because we have a second baby on the way and she(my wife) wants a wagon instead.Preferrably a subaru, so I have to sell my cars to get her what she wants.
I am looking to get 6500$ for both cars, a good engine and LOTS of spare parts.I might consider a trade for something, try me.I am also open to reasonable counter-offer.I have not posted this anywhere else as of yet because I want people who actually love these cars to get them.I am sure that I am forgetting to list or tell something, as I recall them I will add to this post.I also will try and get some photos posted soon.If you would like a photo of some area in particular, just ask i will try and accomodate you.

PS- Neither one has been modified for veggie oil use.

Due to the lack of response and the fact that we are now only 3 months away from our second child I must inform you folks that if someone doesnt take some interest in taking these cars and parts from me, then they will go to the junkman. I NEED them gone ASAP. think the price is to much for it all then make an offer. Like I said, I would rather they go to people that are going to drive and car for them as I have, but if no interest they WILL go to the crusher.Seems like a waste. I have some pics..unfortunately they are from in the garage, but its better than nothing at all.

Last chance or they go to the crusher. If you want parts, buyone or both and remove them yourself.I do not have the time to remove, package and mail parts right now. ANY REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE ACCEPTED...send me an email

Sorry to hear - unfortunately parts cars are difficult to sell. You'd have more success if you parted it out individually but you said you didn't have time which is a bummer. No need to get angry at the forum, the classifieds section is very active. In 5 months your thread went to the back quickly and stayed there...just some advice--if you are serious about selling stuff on here you've got to bump your sale threads or update prices, availability, etc. pretty regularly or it gets lost. Regardless, congrats on your upcoming little one.

you CAN read right!...I have adjusted the price down twice already and posted plainly that I am negotiable. The rust has been primarily fixed and you shopuld try READING the ad and then the link for photos might have been seen!!
No one blames anyone for anything, only NOTING the complete LACK of ANY assistance in a solution, only comments like yours. So do me a favor, if you arent going to READ the WHOLE ad, keep your opinions to yourself.
