SOLD!!! Basically Free 1965 Mercedes 230 in Marietta, GA

This car isn't in too bad of shape at all, but I'm just over it. The "we buy any junk car" guy offered me $400.

Someone wants to come take it, that's your price. Interior is OK, exterior is OK, motor is only missing a fuel pump, cam gear, valve cover, and distributor cap. She needs a battery and tires.

I'm in Marietta, GA. Call me if you want it, this is a today only deal, because tomorrow morning I'm calling the guy, and he said he'll be there within an hour of me calling. I give up on trying to find affordable parts for this thing. If you buy the car, I'm only gonna let it sit here a week. Sorry, my wife HATES this thing (she has crappy taste).

Four O Four Four 4 Six Five Five Too One. (Yes, I know I misspelled "two").

I say "basically free" because after you pull whatever parts you want off (as long as it doesn't significantly affect the weight) you can still have it scrapped for that price. So it's pretty much impossible to lose on this deal. Want to stress one more time, TODAY ONLY. Tomorrow it will be gone. Today is Monday the 12th of December 2011.

You don't think the wife will tolerate it a little longer if maybe you decorated it with some Christmas lights?

I think she would appreciate it so much that she'd decorate me... with a noose made out of Christmas lights.

As you can see it's pretty dirty, but the rust isn't horrible, and everything is there. Front tires hold air fine (but they're old and I'd advise replacing them) but you wouldn't need a roll-back, just a regular tow dolly and you could haul this thing anywhere.

Sold. Crusher guy called back and offered $450. Can't turn it down, so another Mercedes dies (after he rips out the interior).

Sorry guys.

Thats a real shame its getting crushed, they don't make those any more. Was there really any point in posting it here if you were only gonna sell it to the crusher in under an hour and a half? Someone might have been interested in stepping up if a little time had been given.

I've got room to store it

But it would take a few hundred to get it down here.

Please dont ever buy another old car if you intend to just destroy them. No offense, but those are getting hard to find and I think a lot of people would have liked to have it if there had been a chance for anyone to even know you were selling it.
