FS: 1967 Mercedes 250S $4500obo Los Angeles

1967 Mercedes Benz 250 S W112 body type.
This was a one owner car with original CA black plates. I still have the original square title they used to give back in 1967.
The original owner passed away and I bought it from his trust.
I have stacks paperwork that dates back till the 60's.
It was sitting about 1 year before it was sold to me in the summer of 2011.
I was planning on restoring it but have run out of finances and need money for my business.
This is my 3rd car so it has not been driven much.

Car is super clean.
It has 70k miles all original. Odometer is still working.
Paint is excellent. Still shines after all these years. It was repainted back in 1984 the original color.
No accidents and garage kept. It shows.
Chrome looks great and shines up nicely.
Interior is also excellent and complete.
No rips on the deep red leather seats.
No cracks on dash and all door panels look great.
The engine runs good but can use some work to be perfect.
Transmission shifts strong and does not slip.
Front brakes are good and I just rebuilt the rear brakes.
Tires have plenty of life left on them.
I was planning on keeping the car and have spent $2500 worth of work to it since the purchase. Have all the receipts.
Rebuilt the entire top end. The head has been machined and a valve job completed. $1800
New rebuilt rear calipers and new pads and fluid. $600
Fresh oil and filter. $60
You can drive the car as is right now but my mechanic recommends these few things to make it perfect.
Carburetor work. The car idles high in neutral to compensate for a low idle in gear.
You can rebuild or buy used carbs and replace them.
Small leak at main seal. Drips a tiny bit of oil once in a while.
This can wait and is not a concern as the leak is tiny according to my mechanic.
Car does not smoke and has no other leaks.
With a little work this car will run and look great!
I have been as honest and thorough as I can with the car. I'm not here to make a quick buck or scam anyone. I do believe in Karma.
I would like for it to go to a good home and to someone who knows Mercedes cars and will take care of it.
Not many of these cars in this original condition anymore.
Also the registration has been expired since Sept. 2011. Not too much penalty yet.
Just been too busy at work to take it to the DMV since I have not been driving the car.

I am looking for a quick sale.
Have title and paperwork in hand.
Please DON'T give me ridiculous offers.
One line emails will be ignored too.
I am looking for serious buyers who knows about these cars or a beginner Mercedes fanatic looking for an entry level car.
Would like close to the asking price but $$CASH$$ talks.
