85 300D 78K Miles
Take a look at this one. This 1985 300D allegedly has 78,122 Miles! Most of the body and inside look OK... except for what appears to be some surface rust on the driver's side. The tie rods and steering bits look very crusty. The rear body mount for the rear axle sub frame support bracket looks worse than my 240D... But all else looks good. The car was a Milwaukee car according to the car report. This one looks great and would be great with minimal work. It needs some paint work where it is shown.
Only on line 4 more days. Rawhide is a facility for at risk or developmentally challenged youths. They are a reputable Wisconsin charitable organization. They raise funds by accepting donated items (in this case cars) and selling them after they have evaluated them. They also have another 300D for sale which is a real crusty parts car. Its a nice car but not a $4500+ car with that rust. May be able to get $3k from the right buyer but probably closer to $2k.
