1991 300D in Houston, TX
After 13 years of driving it I'm finally putting it on the market. Silver/burgundy (leather), 252k miles.
I have maintenance records for 10 years, over that time the following work has been done. Most of this is over the last 7 years or so: Rebuilt valves (new head) rebuilt turbo rebuilt transmission (reverse, and 1st gear) new A/C compressor (it is converted to R134, but I'm very happy with how cold it is, and I'm in Houston) new A/C evap coil new A/C blower fan motor new shocks all 4 corners (bilstein heavy duty) new radiator new floor mats tires are all matching goodyear with lots of tread left This car literally drives like it's new, but there are a number of cosmetic issues unfortunately: paint on the roof and trunk lid is faded, worn a hole in the bumper cover below the drivers headlight hole in drivers seat left bolster (about the size of a softball) worn pass. seat bolster but no hole worn steering wheel leather I have a Pioneer CD deck in it right now, but i do have the original Becker tape deck in a box in the trunk. Like i said, it drives fantastically. There isn't a single thing that needs to be fixed about the way it runs, it uses almost no oil (never have to fill it between changes), it is VERY fast, fastest diesel I've ever driven. I have loved this car well for a long time and I'd like to find a good home for it. I am *asking* $4000 for it, but I am open to any offer. Oh yeah, I also have the W124 full Factory Service Manual CD's to go along with it to sweeten the deal. I also have like 5 keys, including the 'reserve' key and the valet key.

well typically I drive pretty fast and really only in the city and it gets about 22-24. Once on a long highway trip though i got up to 34mpg at 75mph.

I should be getting a new (used in much better condition) steering wheel. Once i get it in I will post pics.
