For sale in Memphis, TN; 1981 280CE (coupe) is looking for a home. The previous 2nd owner has owned it 2 years and bought it from the little old lady. The car has about 142K miles on it and when parked the AC worked, so I was told.

The car suffered from a very dirty gasoline tank. The previous owner removed the gasoline tank and had it professionally cleaned and that's the end of the work he did. Comes with a new distributor and some other new parts.

The interior is very clean --- take a look at that CREAM (to me) driver's seat. Maybe the interior is early Palomino, but it looked like CREAM to me. No rips. The car has the original radio along with some fancy cassette interface inside the glovebox. I will have to look at the dash again. Might have had a small crack in it.

Car needs paint. All the sheet metal appears to be straight.

Asking $1100 and I know this car won't last long.

That paint (except for the hood) is begging to be rescued! Jason is right. A weekend with the right buffing and that paint would come out pretty good.
