Time to part with Big Red as she is affectionately known.

I bought the car 4 years ago or so for $1000 (nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes Benz). Since that time, I've replaced the following and have driven it 15k or so:

Bilsteins (all four)
New timing chain
new brake rotors, pads all around
new parking brake shoes
new rear flex disc
new tires
tranny serviced
regular oil changes
Replaced most coolant hoses.
replaced front and rear speakers (has door sub-woofers and amp as well) and installed Alpine head unit with iPhone integration.

In last three years I installed new factory floor mats.
Installed direct pressure waste gate and removed turbo control electrical system.
Replaced rear window regulator on passenger side once or twice.
Had vinyl between door covering sear belts replaced.
Sealed up the pump after biodiesel/ULSD issues. No leaks and no bio for two years.
New motor mounts.

In last two years, I replaced a/c compressor, condenser, drier, hoses, etc. and charged with R134. A/C works well as does overall climate control system.
New fuel level sender.
This winter, all 5 glow plugs and block heater cord.

In last week I replaced lower control arms and had car aligned.

Car is ugly outside, three different shades of red with chipped away clear coat. Small dent in trunk lid. Small depression in driver's door. Some rust around jackpoints (hidden by side skirts and not an issue for jacking) and under battery.

Interior is nice (palomino or tan I believe), 7 or 8 of 10 (when it is clean).

Steady 30 mpg with little to no oil consumption between 6000 mile changes. Driven daily with no major issues. Shifts well. Rear end sometimes clunks on shift. Cruise is out (worked for awhile and brain is intact). Power side mirror is out. Driver's side rear window does not work, I believe because of poor repair to door wiring, which I fixed once a while ago.

I'm selling this and my 1.6 TD conversion Westphalia Vanagon to finance a new truck or Eurovan due to increasing carpool responsibilities, primarily Scouting trips.
