ok ok... 82 300TD, 2000 land rover, 99 E320 wagon for sale...

OK, one of these is going to get sold. The 3 to pick from...

The 82 300TD

New paint, Black interior, new Timing chain, rebuilt sls, new tires, new balanced injectors, new windshield, nice dash, 85 2.88 rear with matching speedo rebuilt the rear wiper, new battery and more... 100% rust free, formally california car.

No idea, on price... I have a crap load of time and money tied up in this one. Make me a reasonable offer

The 2000 DII Land Rover...

New head gaskets, new valley pan gasket, new valve cover gaskets etc... basically the entire top end... All done last week. New cooper tires. New OEM O2 sensors. New Radiator. Working sunroofs, cold A/C etc. Needs headliner and might be due for brakes. Some hail damage to the aluminum hood. I have a spare and have quote of 150 bucks to paint to match and also do the optional flat blackout of the center potion of the hood normally done to run lights on the rack. The damaged hoods worth 45 bucks by itself in scrap aluminum, so its really only a $105 repair.

Would sell for 5500 with rack and everything or 4000 without rack and other optional off-road equipment as I have a standing offer of 1500 for the OEM rack (Which is very hard to find), bush guard, rear light protection already.
The 1999 E320 Wagon Not 4matic.

New transmission (actually still at the transmission shop being finished up) New tires, Literally drove from Pep Boys to transmission shop. Week before that I put new Brakes and rotors on. New A/C system. Needs headliner, and has a crack in the rear plastic bumper from PO. New 100K Spark plugs wires, new fuel filter. Everything on the car works.

Looking for 5000.

Does the 300TD have a manual sun roof? How are the seals on it, if so? Any leaks?

Seals don't stop a sunroof from leaking, though they're certainly a nice help (and don't cost that much to replace); unclogged drainage tubes do.

Perfect seals + clogged tubes = rusty sunroof tray even if you don't notice any leak in the car.

NO, the TD has no sunroof! One of the things I really like about it. It's also been customized, note there is no roof rack, and no rear quarter antenna... It gives the car a very nice clean look.

out of the 3 cars, the TD is the one that I really want to keep. It fit's my family gets amazing MPG and I know it inside and out from all the work I've done with it. Course, it's the only car that has gotten any interest. I've had some pretty outlandish offers (lets just say the tires and paint on the car cost more than the offers... So lets put that part to rest, there absolute minimum I would be willing to part with it is 6k. Anything less than that and it's worth more as a driver for me as I could not replace it for less.

Hah, welcome to CheapParts! I'm with you on keeping the TD and selling the others. The first to go for me would be that newer wagon. That Land Rover looks quite nice too!

Say, is that rebuilt 617 for sale? I don't have money for it right now, but if interested PM me what you'd want for it and I'll definitely consider it in the next couple months...

I have seen the wagon and it is pretty nice. I am tempted by it myself.

Any ballpark ideas on what you hope to get for the TD?

160k. New transmission. It's going over to MB specialist on Monday to get a deep scanning. I believe the main Trans computer has a fault right now. (From the previous trans) and that can only be cleared by the dealer or a shop with a really good scanner.
