85 300TD, Central KY, $8000
Nice, clean, solid 1985 300TD wagon. Desert Sun with Palomino interior. Everything works.
VIN: WDBAB93C8FF040551 Mileage: 141,000. Although I will not and cannot verify is this is the real mileage. My mechanic and I think it is, but I'm just being careful... Heres a short list: MB rebuilt tranny Resealed steering box Weatherstripping (MB) for the 4 doors (don't have new one for the rear hatch) AC changed to 134 & charged on 8-30-12 Cargo net (new) and hardware (used but complete) 3rd row seat & hardware including seat belts, trim, etc. Extra set of bundts Euro headlights Cross bars Extra set of side trim Here is a link to a pic gallery: Flickr: JBreslin's Photostream I will add that this wagon DOES HAVE A WRECK/REBUILD ON THE TITLE. The good folks in Indiana will not give me an explanation as to why they added it. It's now titled and living in Kentucky. It was also in a minor fender bender in Lex, KY in 2009. Previous owner tapped a car, no damage seen on the wagon. I think this wagon with the extras is worth $8000. Let me know what you're willing to offer. Motivated to sell! I am out of room and would like for it to find a new home before the snow falls. Now that my coupe is back, I feel like it is time to pass this great wagon onto a new home.
The AC compressor is brand new, bearings decided to stop being bearings two weeks ago! Changed to 134 in 2008 the correct way! The trans is tagged as being rebuilt by Mercedes Benz. This happened before I owned it, and before the previous owner owned it. It can be inspected. It is currently living at Silverstar Motorwerks in Winchester, KY until I can get to town to pick it up. Gary Ensor is the most capable indie mechanic EVER! He is the man that has been rebuilding this wagon since Dr. Spires bought it in 2008. If I had the room, I would keep her, it's a great car. I'm open to any fair offers as a package, or for just the car.

That is a beautiful wagon. Silverstar Motors was excellent when I talked to them on the phone, Tafel wouldn't give me the time of day. If your ever in Louisville/Radcliff let me know. I wish I had $8000.....
