The 450SE seemed to have a Sanden conversion.

It also had a strange aftermarket Bosch antenna with an adapter.

I don't know if this chassis roof rack crossbars are worth anything:

There were 7 matching 16" Centra wheels, but now there are only 3 left. I got the one center cap.

I can't believe someone would throw this away:

/\ I can!

Sadly, that's where most W220s will be in time. They're at the point where rarely are they (at least early ones) economical to fix any longer. And here in the Midwest, they rust like hell.

My father has a W220 S430 and I have to say, after three decades of owning Mercedes, that has by far been the absolute worst one he's ever had. Between the constant nickel-and-diming and the way the body has started to rust, it has gotten him to the point that he's not sure if he will even buy another Mercedes-Benz.

You trekked all the way to Puh-honix and you left the m-pump sitting there? Sooooo, lets get a list of what you did make away with...

Not really, yet. In time, sure. They are a cinch to remove, though, so why not grab 'em?

Do you bring a key with? How do you remove without destroying?

Wow, most recent s-klasse I've seen in a yard. Sad. But, check out how close that residence is. I can't imagine having an auto salvage for my backyard. Talk about stress!

I had thought about getting the M-pump, but didn't think there would be much room for profit, and I already spent just about all the money I had. It would be a shame for it to go to waste.

If they were W123 crossbars, I definitely would have got them. But, I know next to nothing about the W124, and don't know if maybe by then they all came with them. I'm pretty broke right now, anyway.

The Centra center cap lock was easy to remove. I just put a flat blade screwdriver in the screw head and it twisted off easily. Then I used a brake spring hook on the inside of the screw hole and pulled off the center cap.

I think that the "house" in the background is actually some kind of business that looks like one. There is actually a school next to the yard, though. When I was looking at the cars, some kids were looking over the fence and yelling and giving me a hard time.

Sheeshs! I got flamed for even stepping foot in that yard!

Wrecking yards were an afterthought for this trip. Baseball was a priority.

I went there to get the one w123 Euro headlight. That was the mission, and I accomplished that. Didn't have time to see what was going on with the other benzes except for the M - pumper.
