Cool 1984 300D for sale

I'm offering a 1984 300D for sale. Silver with blue interior. 217K. Toledo, Ohio.

The car has a good, long history, but I'll try to make it short and sweet.

I bought the car with 209,000 miles on the clock. The original owner stopped driving it around 199,000. He was a commercial pilot and took very meticulous records of the car's maintenance (nearly every fill-up was documented; all of which I have.) The car spent a good deal of time sitting in an airport parking lot while he owned it, and needless to say, the elements certainly took their toll on the car.

After he parted ways with the car, it passed through two more owners til it got to me.

I suppose at this point I'll provide two lists: the good and the bad. I respect honesty greatly, so I'm going to be very descriptive.

The GOOD!
The car's engine runs good.
I replaced the brittle velour interior with blue tex which is in great shape.
New tires
New motor mounts
New transmission mounts
New fuel filters
New fuel lines
New speakers and deck (JL audio and Kenwood CD Mp3)
New euro-style headlights which work great
New BOSIO injectors (still need balanced)
Replaced valve cover and gasket
New air filter
New shifter bushings
New Exhaust (all of it)
New-er floor mats.
New rear-view mirror!
New brakes and rotors!
New shocks!

The bad
-The car's body is in GOOD shape for its age, but it will need some body work done very soon. There are a few small rust spots. One is actually rather large underneath the trunk wells. I think anyone would be impressed with it though.
-The injector nozzles are new, but I think they might need balanced. When the car heats up, my idle is kinda shaky.
-The car needs a valve adjustment.
-The car is leaking water into the rear seats and I think the front windshield seal is the culprit. The windshield has a small stone chip in it though so you might be better off claiming that on your insurance if you have a low deductible.
-The front seats do not have matching seatbelts. They came out of a 1979 240D and I've never been able to find any on eBay.
-The dash has plenty of cracks.
-The odometer stopped working a couple weeks ago, but I've been tracking my distances, so I know where it needs to be.
-The clear corner lights that came with my euro headlights suck and should be replaced simply because they look dumb.
-The cigar lighter doesn't work.
-The vanity mirror clips are broken.
-The wheels aren't pretty at all.
-The air conditioner doesn't work and smells funny. Compressor and dryer checked out as OK though.

I'd like to include some parts that I've purchased but have never installed:
-New timing chain and tensioner.
-New hood pad
-Valve adjustment wrenches from DieselGiant
-New valve cover gasket
-5 extra Bundt wheels for reconditioning (so that you can still drive the car without removing the wheels!)
-New air cleaner bracket with mounts

I can only include text right now. I will take some pictures of the car in a few days. I just wanted to get the post up and I will add to it as I can.

PM me for more details. All offers considered.

It took me about two years to upload pictures, but better late than never!
