1986 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth for sale

All -

Am selling my 190E 2.3-16 because I got a screaming deal on a W140 S600... We'll see how that goes, but anyway....

eBay listing for 1986 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth

I've put a fair amount into it in the relatively short time I've had it, but it is a very solid and fun driver. Someone is going to get a steal on this one with no reserve.

Thanks for looking!!

16V

You will wish you had stayed with the 190; that W140 will eat you out of house and home.

Wow that's going to be a nice pick up for someone. Surprised you didn't float it here or on one of the other lists first. Lots of DC-area folks around. GLWS!

So...

The 190 was bid up to $5200, which I thought was a little light, but someone should have gotten a great deal since it was no reserve. I say should have because despite bidding right up until the end, the supposed winner has been MIA.

Ugh.

Anyway, you may see it relisted if I don't hear something soon. Or if interested, please contact me offline (hitch02@cox.net).

Thanks!!

I would recommend putting a post up on here with pics and info! I love the cossies personally (tight money) BUT a lot of folks on here have had them and we certainly appreciate them so you never know. Sorry to hear about the deadbeat, seems like an ebay trend these days...

I'm surprised one can still buy a decent driving 16v for $6K or so. Smokin good deal for what it is.
Only ever drove one but I'll always remember the experience.

Seems like that really depends on your financial circumstance.

All -

the car is relisted here:

16v relisted on eBay

I added a buy it now option at the price it sold for on the last auction, which I still think is a great deal, but I also want to move on...

To the point above, I've found this forum a great place to buy cars but lousy to sell them. Your mileage may vary...

Thanks for looking!!
