1970 Mercedes 280SE 108 Runner Project Car with Extra Parts

I finally have a good chance at purchasing a split window Beetle...so I need to sell the project 280SE. Asking price is $2800.00
1970 Mercedes 280SE, 120K miles, this is the 108 body, 6 cylinder, mechanical fuel injection, (gas, not diesel), automatic, dark brown interior, new correct Interstate battery, rebuilt drive shaft, currently registered and driven weekends. Car spent most of its life in CO and CA so while it has some minor rusting it is not a rust bucket. New brake pads and machined rotors on all 4 wheels. Engine runs fine, transmission shifts fine. Ignition has been converted to Pertronix pointless, I have the parts to convert to stock ignition which I will include. Interior needs butt part of driver's seat, the rest of the interior is nice. Needs front door sill top vinyl pieces replaced, I have them but they will need to be painted to match the interior. AC does not work but is complete. The rear camber compensator is weak. All the electric windows work, the driver's needs a regulator which I will include. Numerous spare parts will be included with the sale including a Becker Stereo, extra rear calipers and discs, extra exhaust, wood trim for the dash, dash pad, steering wheel, sun visors, rear camber compensator, and more. Heater blower motor and central locking system need repair. This is an solid, driveable project car. Open to offers for a quick sale. Located in Steger, IL 60475 about 25 miles south of Chicago about 7 miles west of the IN line on Route 30. Clear Illinois title in my name. Will not separate parts.
