I'm posting this for a colleague. I've only been in the car once so it's best to contact him with your questions.

1982 MB 300D, $3200, about 100K on the engine, 175K on the car. Just getting broken in. This has been maintained very well, I have all of the receipts for many years of service. Interior and exterior is in great condition, the rust is being held off. I recently replaced the lower control arm bushings. Has new paint. I was planning to convert it to vegetable oil and then changed my mind. Tires are good, it will easily pass inspection.

Maintained very well and had a 617 die @ 75k! That is equal to good maintenance if that means checking the oil level once when for the last 5,000 miles it did not sound to good.
