Try unplugging the electrical connector to the kick down switch below/behind the throttle pedal and drive it around. Chances are it may resolve the issue. If its just a sticking kickdown, thats a quick fix and then the car is back to having some value!

So i went to unplug the kickdown switch and it was already unplugged. I plugged it in and dorve it around for about 15 minutes. It got up to temp and shifted through all the gears. When i went to wot it would not kickdown to the lower gear however it did feel like it had some more power as opposed to driving it without the kickdown switch unplugged. Any thoughts?
