Manual Transmission Parts Cars For Sale

I have two Euro 240D parts cars, a 1980 and a 1984, both with four speed manual transmissions.

I also have a running 1988 300E manual transmission car. It is registered and inspected, but I have finally given up on it for a driver.

The 1980 is without engine, but transmission and aftermarket a/c are intact in car. Steering box and most of engine compartment items gone. Front suspension in place with no springs, but is worn out stuff from the 84. Lots of decent sheet metal, but the car has been repainted with enamel. Has a nice set of euro bumpers.

The 1984 has the engine from the 1980, and it is worn out. Original four speed manual in car and everything intact, but has not run in years. Another parts car, primarily for the transmission, but lots of other items such as early round Euro lights and the vacuum dial for raising and lowering lights. Rear euro bumper is FUBAR.

1988 300E has 333,000 miles. Intermiitently will not idle. Leaking oil from headgasket on passenger side. One of the 300 or so manual transmission 300E's US equipped in MY88. Nice Panasonic radio. Nice palamino leather interior with very minor wear on drivers seat. A/C was making ice cold air until the belt tensioner laid down. Now it trips the rotation sensor circuit. It is rust free with minor damage on the right front door and fender. Paint has seen better days. If I were to come across a Cherry, low mileage car, I would put the manual transmission in it and have a parts car, but I just have gotten my money's worth from the car. Oh yes, it has a 500E rear sway bar. It also has a set of Michelins, perfectly balanced and very low mileage. I might part the car out, but I would rather sell it to the right person that realizes the value it has.

PM me with any interest you might have. I need to just get these cars off the premises.

The cars are located in NE Texas 100 miles or so NE of Dallas. You can legally and reliably drive the 300E home, but you'll have to bring a trailer and winch for the 123 cars.

I am attaching what few pictures I have. They do not reflect the poor condition of the paint. You might can see the minor deer damage in the right front door.

I am looking for offers on these parts cars.

Jooseppi, it appears from your moniker that you share my love for stick shifts.

The 300E is not in great shape anymore, but for someone wanting to manualize a newer and nicer 300E or even a 300D, it would be just the ticket. Everything you need for the conversion plus a parts car for other needs whIle driving the converted car.

I hope to use a light and get some more pictures of it posted. I also have some pictures somewhere of the 123 cars that I hope to post soon.

I apologize for not yet posting any more pictures.

I have had a few PM's asking prices. I am just looking for offers and want to get them out of the way. The 123 cars can go really cheap. The 300E given it's value as a full manual transmission donor along with many other good parts will demand a little more money.

I would like the black shifter console on the '84 if you're going to start parting.
Thanks

Thanks for the interest Fattyman, but the cars will be sold complete. In fact I have a very interested buyer that said it would be a few weeks before he will be able to haul them home. Both cars have the same console and shifter boot, though.

BTW, I have a brand new in the box clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing for the 300E that will be included. That's about $300 worth.

The 300E is a running, registered and inspected car, that could be driven anywhere, albeit with the rotational sensor kicking out the AC due to a bad tensioner.

I have. Decided to ask $3,800 for it.

I should be receiving a deposit on the 240D's today, but the 300E is still available. It is the one that I really need to sell to free up some indoor storage space.

Larry- Hanno had a very hard time selling his 5 speed at a much more reasonable price than you are asking for your 88. Here is the thread:

Hanno's car also had lower miles. I almost bought it and I am still kicking myself for not.
