Hi All!

I'm totally devoted to this car, and would like it to have a good new home first and foremost. But we have a 2.5 yr old, and the whole coupe / 2-door thing is more than I can handle (having done it for 2.5 years now!) anymore. Time for our coupe to find a good home. A forum member to love this car will be ideal. Here are a few particulars; write me for more info and pictures.
- 249k original and documented miles
- I'm the third owner, though the second owner only had it a very short time. Carfax VIN info all checks out
- mechanically excellent - engine, transmission, axles, diff, brakes, etc.
- passes MA inspection every year no problem
- lots of work done professionally, documented with receipts
- my daily driver since 2007; totally reliable
- lots of extras, i.e. full set of original rims with snow tires in good condition on them
- professionally installed two-tank WVO setup, Greasecar, with co-pilot computer controller (you can have car with it, or I can take it out if you'd prefer)
- Blue exterior / tan-palomino interior
- driver's seat still very firm and in excellent condition, no cracks or anything
- no dash cracks
- everything works: windows, sunroof, ccontrol, a/c.
- i swapped the radio but I might still have the original (non-functioning) Becker somewhere
- will eventually need to be re-sprayed; small rust on front fenders at bottom (typical for New England unfortunately)

We're keeping our '87 300TDT, four-doors and the wagon is great for a small family, so I'll stay active on this forum.

I'm not posting a price - your fair offer will be considered. Car can be driven anywhere in the USA as is right now, it's in good shape. Like I said, I want to know it goes to a good home!

Think a price to start off with and photos would help with the sale. Also the wvo will be a turn off to a lot of people....

yes, photos a must! Coming...waiting for the rain to stop. It's going to be a messy Memorial Day weekend unfortunately, but rain should stop by Sunday evening.

Regarding the WVO, this car's diesel system was and is completely original and stock. The two-tank setup never mixes the two, other than sending diesel down the veg lines for "flushing" purposes. Car never ran on veg until completely warm, and veg was always at 150-160F degrees to mimic diesel. I do agree with you - I've seen some of these cars nearly destroyed with awful "one-tank" WVO conversions, hack jobs, all of them (think Lovecraft for those of you who know this world). My car is original, with the veg system added cleanly - and can be removed cleanly as well. But yeah, I agree with your concern, thank you!

Any interest in a trade for another GREAT 4-door:
FS: 1977 300D with Elsbett, well restored

I wouldn't mind a coupe to play with and still run WVO
You could run oil too in the summer on this Elsbett and keep the snow tires if needed
