1984 China Blue 300D $3250 - Northern Virginia
Here is my Craigslist ad:
1984 300D $3250 I am willing to negotiate. 206,000 miles on a working odometer. This is a German import model with crank windows, manual sunroof and manual antenna. That means they all work and there is no chance of them costing you $600 when the automatic window regulators on other W123's for sale on craigslist break. This is also a non-turbo 5 cylinder, which has plenty of power for highway speed and is another part that you will never have to worry about breaking. The AC was converted to R-134 in the mid 90's and as such works and blows cold! There is also an aftermarket in dash 6-disk CD player with AUX input for your iPod or MP3 player. I have also just installed 4 brand new Pioneer speakers and Bilstein rear shocks. I also fixed the swaybar endlinks and changed the rear differential fluid. I have recently cleaned the entire fuel system and performed a liqi-moly diesel purge on the injectors. The rear break pads are brand new and so are all of the filters. I just replaced the parking break and the grill, and headlights are brand new. This car was previously owned by the same owner since 1985 and I bought it as a long distance highway road trip car. My plans have changed and I am unable to take the road trip like I wanted so the car needs to make room for other projects. I would take this car right now across the country with no fears. This car is mechanically strong and I dare you to find an example with a better interior. The exterior is solid, but there are spots of rust. As such, I am pricing the car accordingly at $3250 for a reasonably quick sale. For those interested, this car can be used as a starting point for a biodiesel or WVO conversion, but that has not been done on this car. Please respond with W123 in the title of your email so that I know you are not SPAM. Thank you! (703) 622-3348 - Josh $3250 obo |

To be honest, your price may be a little high. When I was reading, I was omg sweet car....euro import and all.....then I seen what looks like rot in the rear and no other euro features besides the headlights....just my 2cents....

Where did you get that steering wheel?

The rear bumper is the tiny euro one. The crank windows, manual sunroof and antenna are euro spec. The steering wheel came with the car from the PO. I thought it was original.
I am open to suggestions as to what others think I should price it at locally. I am willing to negotiate on the price. |
