I hope a member here gets this car. It is in fact too nice to see get parted out. I also have the identical car (same year and color) but with a turbo 617 swapped in. Mine even has similar rust spots just above the lower molding. Again, someone please grab this car and put it back on the road! (I am practically on the other side of the planet, or I would).

losing interest
Guys --- I'm losing interest in old Mercedes stuff. Anyone interested in this project car?
EDIT: Looks like I'm planning a trip to Atlanta area, anyone over there interested? If I end up delivering stuff, I could drag my trailer along with this car.

If you said you were hauling near the Raleigh area....at that price it's a damn good parts car.
I don't need another W123, but with two to keep on the road/restore a parts car would be very handy.

Finally, sold this to a local guy with a 1978 300D good drivetrain; helping him do the swap.
