pretty sparse ad, I agree. He has a mpg number, so maybe it runs, but I doubt someone could ask 3500 bucks for an old wagon and not have it running, but then again, ive been surprised many times.

do the 240TDs have a hydraulic suspension pump as well?

Im about 4-5 hours south, wouldn't really be easily feasible. we need to find a member in Portland ME, thats only an hour south of this car

I have spent several years of my life living within miles of that location. I would not consider any car exposed to a Maine winter to be a keeper. Fun car to use up and throw away, but not at that price.

I live about 10 miles from the car. I called about it this AM. Owner has done a bunch of work, wants $2500 for the car and another $500 for a fairly complete parts car. Much work apparently has been done, but there is some rust to be done. Car ran recently was inspected in 2007. I may take a look at it. What in particular should I look for?
