1987 300D - $1250
Selling the wife's daily driver. Had it for over a year now, and haven't had time with switching jobs and readying the house to sell to finish the remaining things with it. It runs very very well. Transmission shifts fine. Interior is good shape for the age of the car. Some cracks in dash, drivers seat bolster wear. Other than that, it's quite nice.
Things it will need. I bought a new condenser for it, as the old one was bad. I will include that with the car, it's new in the box. Also, the blower motor intermittently works. I bought a new unit complete with new cages as they tend to break when removing them when they're old and brittle. I will also include that as well. Will also need rust repair around the jackpoints where they rust. I have to sell my house, so the extra toys will have to go. The thinning of the herd has to continue. The wife hates being put back into a W123, with the lack of acceleration vs. the OM603 in the W124, but she's making due. I'm trying to eliminate the W124's to simplify the parts I need to keep around, and I prefer the simplicity of the W123 personally. I have an 87 300TDT that will be coming up shortly for sale also (with the OE MB Clamshell carrier included), and then that will be the last one to go... Any questions or any pictures of any particular areas needed, let me know. Was in and out of the country over the last 2 weeks. If I can get out there tomorrow, I'll upload some pics. In the meantime, here's a couple videos from earlier this year. One driving it, and a quick walkaround in the other video. Thanks! I want this to go to a really good home. I've been fortunate so far placing pieces from the collection with great people who are still keeping them on the road. I'd hoping to continue that. Whoever gets it, know in advance I'll be checking in every few months or so to see how it's doing. Driving the wife's car 87 300D Walkaround

Tried to edit a mistake in the listing price. I thought it took, but in the forum section, still reads the wrong price. Any ideas?

Thanks Shertex.
Also, I mistakenly listed the same video to both links. Here is the proper link to the walkaround video. 87 300D Walkaround Also fixed the link in the first post. Thanks

Had to help out my father last minute which had me outside for a second going by the car, and snagged a few pics.

Incidentally, if there is a moderator reading this thread, please change the price in the title from 1350 to 1250. I didn't catch it when I made the listing.
Thanks!

And more. Man, it stinks getting rid of stuff you like just because you have more then you can use, and you need to relocate. It sounds like it would be a natural and positive thing to do, but when you like what you have, it's awful. For me anyway.

It also has an Alpine CD deck in dash, and a mating Alpine 6 Disc Changer in the trunk, that's controlled by the in-dash head unit. This will also be thrown into the deal. Too much trouble taking it out.

PM'd you about one of the others in the fleet. $1250 for this looks like a steal. Have seen OM603 with blown heads sell for more!

Funny you should say that. I've toyed with using the engine out of this or the 87 300TDT as a donor for a 94 S350 I need to re-power. But a forum member I've worked together previously with came through for me. Plus, they are too decent to part out, and that would take even more time I dont really have. I wonder if I could stash them at VSTech's place. John's got neighbors like mine. PITA.

Honestly I would try to put this on ebay. These go for much more than you're asking out here in CA so if you're willing to deal with that it might be worth a couple grand extra. I sold my W123 that I would say is not in as good of shape as this car and has a salvage title for $1600.
Good looking car though, good luck with your sale.
