I am looking to sell or trade this 1985 Euro 380 SEL. It is a one owner (if you don't count the 3 title transfers within the family and the sale to me), garage kept (no way of really knowing, but certainly the level of debris under the battery tray isn't an indication), and rare(if you consider 27,014 a low number).

Low KBB classic value on this beauty is $8,000.

The vehicle sat for a few years to the best of my knowledge before I purchased it but runs and drives. The paint looks good from a few feet away but appears to be a repaint with typical wear, rocks chips ect.

It retains its Euro bumpers and headlights and the warning triangle has managed to stay in place in the boot.

What makes this 380 rare is that it was special ordered with SEC style velour seating and burlwood trim.

The odometer shows just under 114,000 miles and the cluster markings and needles are a bright and beautiful orange.

I have removed the chrome wheel arches and did not find a bunch of rust and rot. In fact it was surprisingly clean under there. The major boogers on the outside of the car include a dent in the driver's side fender (I could even throw in a good one for the next owner to paint and install) and the chrome corner on the front bumper is tweeked a bit (looks like it could be straightened without much effort).

I realize the 380 isn't as desireable as a 500 or even a 560, but being a Euro should have enough pep and without the worry of a single row timing chain. The SEC style electric rear buckets are plenty exciting too!

Located in near Syracuse, NY

Asking $2450, willing to trade for other vehicles (especially a pick up truck) or outdoor recreation toys.
Mike:
That's a very respectable car for a very respectable price. GLWS!

Greg

Good luck with the sale.

Beauty. And I am one of a few I guess that much refers the euro cloth over leather or MB tex. What are the SEC options you refer to? I couldn't pick up anything from the options sheet. I guess my interest is piqued over the exciting back seats comment. Not that I'm running out the door to find a nubile young thing to enjoy them with or anything. But I hear she's out there...

This reminds me of a pool car I blasted to Frankfurt airport in from Bonn. I know 200 kph was reached a few times, my first experience with balls-out autobahn running. Funny thing was I lost every minute of time I gained going like a maniac while I looked for a parking spot.

The truck I've got only fits 1 of the criteria haha.

I've got a 1992 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 Magnum with EFI, 139k. Grandfather bought it new and I've got the window sticker, so like your car, its sort of 1 owner. Doesn't have a hitch and I've never towed with it. Its an extended cab with a back seat but only two doors.

The paint on the truck is pretty weathered but the truck isn't rusty and is garaged in my warehouse 99% of the year.

Automatic, working R12 AC, working cruise, driven to DC, Chicago, and Tennessee as of late at it got 20.2-22.7 mpg which I was pretty impressed with personally (rated at 15/20).

I didn't know if you were hoping to get a nice tow vehicle or just needed the utility of a truck, moving stuff around town type deal, which is more of what I use my truck for. I use an F250 to tow a trailer.
