FS/FT 1985 Euro 380 SEL

After being a member of this and other forums and reading way too many CL ads I should know better than to write my ad this way...But, feeling a bit cheeky - Here we go:

I am looking to sell or trade this 1985 Euro 380 SEL. It is a one owner (if you don't count the 3 title transfers within the family and the sale to me), garage kept (no way of really knowing, but certainly the level of debris under the battery tray isn't an indication), and rare(if you consider 27,014 a low number).

Low KBB classic value on this beauty is $8,000.

The vehicle sat for a few years to the best of my knowledge before I purchased it but runs and drives. The paint looks good from a few feet away but appears to be a repaint with typical wear, rocks chips ect.

It retains its Euro bumpers and headlights and the warning triangle has managed to stay in place in the boot.

What makes this 380 rare is that it was special ordered with SEC style velour seating and burlwood trim.

The odometer shows just under 114,000 miles and the cluster markings and needles are a bright and beautiful orange.

I have removed the chrome wheel arches and did not find a bunch of rust and rot. In fact it was surprisingly clean under there. The major boogers on the outside of the car include a dent in the driver's side fender (I could even throw in a good one for the next owner to paint and install) and the chrome corner on the front bumper is tweeked a bit (looks like it could be straightened without much effort).

I realize the 380 isn't as desireable as a 500 or even a 560, but being a Euro should have enough pep and without the worry of a single row timing chain. The SEC style electric rear buckets are plenty exciting too!

Located in near Syracuse, NY

Asking $2450, willing to trade for other vehicles (especially a pick up truck) or outdoor recreation toys.

Nice car! The euro 3.8 had tons more power than the US trim one.

What's the VIN?

Cool. Here is the data card for you car. Note that EPC doesn't decode all the options correctly, but you can look those up easily on other sites.

Hey thanks for doing that! I run the vin for everything so I'm not sure why I didn't think to add it here.

Cheers!

We had an 84 380SE for two weeks for a quick flip. Was a great car, but wasn't Euro. AC by any chance?

I hope you did well with it! Maybe you want to do the same with mine

I ran the AC, it was cool, not cold. Haven't tried it beyond that. Probably just needs a recharge Kidding. I really don't know.

I'd fly over to see it but I'd make a mess on that velour!
