78 240d for sale. It's got 360000 miles on it. Runs good has new parts but has no reverse. My buddy is dosent want to spend any more money on it. I'm trying to save this car from the crusher!! Please help. $500

If it was closer to NJ I would buy it. I have a line on a 4 spd manual.
But toooooooo far for me.

Not too far for me but if I brought another home before the CD is sold I'd probably thrown off the boat with an anchor tied to me feet...

I drive through Walterboro all the time but already have a needy MB. Dang.

How much rust on the frame? Price is right and it could save me the misery of the ridiculous amount of body work I have to do on the 3 I already have. I already have a manual transmission I could drop right in. Would it survive a trip to Raleigh, NC or would it require a trailer?

Well I ended up picking it up from my friend so it wouldn't be crushed. It had some rust on the floor pan under the drivers seat but who ever had it before my buddy out some fiberglass over it. I would think it would drive to NC. He had been driving it 60 miles to work and back 5 days a week. Jus no reverse for the past 6 months so he had to watch where he parked so he didn't have to back up. Message me and I can give you my number and we can talk
