And I see your high mileage badge is losing the white enamel on the tristar as well. I have one I just got a few months ago for my W210 wagon and it's the same way already....

Bumping this with a price reduction.

Now at $3300 after a fresh Mobil 1 oil change and replacement of rear brake pads and rotors.

Come on folks, this is a great S124!

could that be construed as a $124
it takes an infusion of parts and service to keep one of these in good running condition.
FWIW I really like my W124 '95 wagon.
Just last week I was out messing with the w/s washer reservoir - its got a leak somewhere and I'm tired of putting fluid in it every week so I found a NOS reservoir on eBay - at $28 I didn't bat an eyelash, pretty soon these may NLA from the dealer the way things are going and I refuse to buy any URO parts.
Anyhow, this car stops in the street and as I looked over to see the driver asked me if my wagon was FS. I immediately said "no, sorry! I love this car!" bought it with 120K and its now some 155K and every mile a pleasure. I just got back from a trip up North and hauling lots of gear and it purrs down the road! There's not a lot of electronics in it to fail.
When my W210 starts getting fluky I have to open the wallet which seems to be a regular thing! The 124 chassis might not have the mirrors that flip down when you select park, or w/s wipers that sense when they need to wipe the windows or an electronic transmission that you hope never fails (ask me about the '99 turbodiesel that I had to have rebuilt, what a money sinkhole!)

The '94 '95 M104 engine and trans are the best I've experienced. The feel of a solid W124 is hard to beat.
I would not hesitate paying the asking price knowing the things that wear out have been replaced, I am sure I have nearly $3000 in parts and labor in mine and its been worth every cent!
(sorry sales hat off now!)
Cheers! DDH

Sorry to the delay in replying to a few questions above, but I was away for the 4th. Hope you all enjoyed yours. I'll try to respond to all below.

@dcotejr, I'm in Central Florida about 15 miles from Orlando, Lake Mary/Sanford specifically

@dieseldiehard, agree that these take regular maintenance to keep in top shape and this one has had it. Also agree that the feel of a solid W124 is just great. That straight 6 is so smooth. Glad to hear that MB will be bringing them back in the near future.

@jjcampbell, will post recent photos in the next couple of days.

@t walgamuth, I'll start with a repeat of what I wrote earlier:

"Please read back to see all the fine work that Dan Rasp did before I purchased the car. Since the purchase, I've had it maintained by Mercedes mechanic par excellence, Pierre Hedary and have $5700 in receipts from him to demonstrate the work done. This is on top of routine things like regular Mobil One oil changes and tires.

A few more dings and scratches over the intervening years, but still a fine, reliable S124. I drive it 500 miles round trip here in Florida without thinking twice. Never let me down and runs, drives and looks great. Rust free!

As Dan said earlier in this thread, "The world is full of sad, worn-out/used up MBs that have been neglected or worse. Well sorted examples ready to give a new owner years of reliable service are few & far between, this is one such car, and my price is quite fair." As mentioned in a later post, I had a mobil 1 oil change and new rear brakes done last week.

More details upon request for anyone who's interested. Would prefer to respond to interested individuals directly, so please private message me and we can find a time to talk. Much preferable to me trying to type with big thumbs.

Specific questions I will be happy to answer here. More pics to come.
