Looking for the proverbial needle in a hay stack..

1973 (1972/1971) 280 SEL 4.5 in Anthracite Grey with Red interior.
Would like to have a sunroof and floor shift, but neither are deal breakers.
Needs to be rust free and should have documentation.
Will concider other color combinations (no blue or brown) at a price that will let me change the paint color or change the interior color and still not exceed my price point.
Anthracite with Black
White with Red



Looking to spend about $14,000 for the right car in the right color. I see lots of blue on blue cars in that price range, but looking for THE car....
Probably will be a couple months before I pull the trigger unless THE car comes up....

I will keep my eyes peeled for you. We've got a silver 1973 280sel 4.5 we are parting out, but at $14,000, I wonder if we could bring it back for you. It's not all that far gone.
