FS: 1993 190E 2.6 Sportline LE 5 spd

Putting up my 190, asking $3500 to a member. Its a Sportline LE 2.6 5spd getrag with lightened single mass flywheel. Has the big 400e brake upgrade, nice tires and a dual pipe stainless steel Seabring exhaust. Havent been driving it so im going to get rid of it before it sits and rots.

Located in socal Los angeles

Paint 7/10
interior 8/10 - only bad thing are the doorcards. Leather is recaro sport seats and red and black leather with piping.
engine- 10/10 runs great has a leak on the valve cover

How many miles are on it?

I'm by Magic Mountain, how far are you from me?

What does the "LE" mean?

Thanks.

Thanks for the interest guys. The poor pictures were due to the fact I wasnt in the mood to sell it lol. Here are a few from it being just washed.

Jim, im in Commerce just south of Downtown LA. About 45 mins from Magic mt.

The 5spd is not factory. Its from a 2.3-16v. It is the shorter dogleg trans. Yes 1st is to the left and down, under the reverse. It has a very hard to find single mass flywheel that was professionally lightened. Has the stock diff. Tried installing an lsd but it was a bad lsd. Its an easy swap if you can find one.
Has about 190k miles on it, but doesnt feel like it. its been using sythetic for about the last 50k miles. Love the car just hate for it to go to crap just sitting there.
Also forgot to mention it does have a salvaged title. Due to front end damage. Mostly because of of the headlights and grill being damaged. I have the paperwork for it.

It has brake calipers from 400 E only? Front and rear ones?
Any modifications with main brake cylinder or booster?

Yes, fronts and rears. ATE premiums in the rears fronts came with the calipers not sure the brand but they are slotted rotors.

no, nothing done to the cylinder or booster. Pedal is firm though.

Thumbs up

So it is a Limted Editon Sportline? I never knew they were called LEs.

Great cars. Sounds nice with the 5 speed and bigger brakes. Can you post the VIN off it?

"Sportline" is a separate package (codes 950/951/952/953 - for all markets).
The 2.6 "Limited edition" version (201.026 with code 958) includes full "Sportline" package.

While
2.3 "Limited edition" is without "Sportline" package.

Ciao!

I was wondering about the top gear ratio, how fast is the engine turning in 5th gear? Mine turns 3000 rpm at 80mph? And how long has that transmission been in the car?

I’d like to get it but I don’t need and can’t really afford another car. But if mine dies, or is killed, I’d get it.

The trans has been in form almost a year now. Yes it is still for sale. Not sure the gear ratio, it still has the original differential. Been trying to source a 16v lsd to throw in there. Its a direct swap. Had one in before but was a bad differential.
