Before thinking about converting a car to diesel, I'd like to let you know about a few curious finds that I have found locally. Apparently, it's a trend here to convert gasoline benzes to diesel...

*1970 280SE - Restored - Not sure on what conversion - Open to offers

...and should you be interested, an original 319D panel van for $15k.

Remember I am in Spain (shipping runs for $2-3k) and that the US has restrictions on vehicles under 25 years of age.

Me too I loved a W124 coupe converted to 603 I have been thinking about it maybe Delibes can get me one cheap enough so I can afford it like the 1992 300E convertible

Being under 25 years old you'd have to be a registered importer to get it in. Possible but not cheap.
